Innovation doesn’t always come from the centre. Sometimes the strongest impulses arise from the autonomy of individual companies, provided there is the right platform to connect them.
At BRAINCONNECT Prague, we actively approach TTC companies to capture their long-term innovation visions. Through 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 and the 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, we create space for dialogue, inspiration, and mapping concrete needs.
We already see innovation emerging inside TTC, such as:
🌱 at TTC TELEPORT, ideas like reusing waste heat from data centres to grow microgreens,
⚡ at Mycroft Mind, development of next-generation energy intelligence technologies.
These cases show how innovation potential surfaces across the group and why it makes sense to identify, support, and further develop it systematically.
🌍 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞
To see how such an approach might grow into a structured model, we can look at the BIND – Basque Open Innovation Platform in Spain. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔, it has connected 250+ startups with 70+ corporates (from global giants like Siemens and Mercedes-Benz to regional leaders such as Grupo Mondragon) and launched 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟑𝟓𝟎 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬. Each company keeps its autonomy, while the platform provides matchmaking, piloting, and knowledge-sharing.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬?
Both Spain and the Czech Republic are ranked as Moderate Innovators. This shows that the Basque approach is not a distant ideal, but a realistic and relevant path for building open innovation culture in Czech business groups.
One promising direction is emerging: autonomy and collaboration can go hand in hand if there is a platform that connects the dots.
💬 Do you sense there are interesting ideas inside your company, but no time to develop them? BRAIN CONNECT Prague can help you take them further.
